Sixers Draft Options

Cody Zeller
The most likely option for the Sixers is Cody Zeller
Zeller would be a nice addition to the Sixers offense. What some people tend to forget is that Zeller could have been one of the top picks in the draft a year ago, but decided to stay in college to work on his game.  This year Zeller averaged 16.1 points per game and 8.1 rebounds.  Zeller is a Thaddeus Young type of player.  He is though and is great on the break.  Another unexpected element of Zeller's game is that he came up with a 35 inch vertical at the NBA Draft Combine this year which is a lot of unexpected athleticism.
 Alex Len
Alex Len represents the best case scenario for the Sixers.  The 7 footer out of Maryland is full of potential, and in my opinion would be the perfect fit for the Sixers.  This year Len averaged about 12 points per game along with 8 rebounds and 2 blocks.  This may seem pretty insignificant in terms of eye popping stats.  But, Len has a ok jumper that could defiantly develop into a good one.  Also, Len had a 68.6 field goal percentage.  Which shows you a couple of things one being that Len is a smart player, not taking unnecessary jumpers.  Another thing that is shown by that is that Len can just bully his way into the paint by sheer strength, and size.  All in all Len will most likely by a pipe dream for the Sixers because of his potential Len will probaly
be taken earlier.

CJ Mccollum
CJ Mccollum has all the potential to be the Damian Lillard of this years NBA draft.  Mccollum who attended Lehigh University averaged 24 points five rebounds and three assists in his senior year.  Mccollum could be a great fit for the Sixers.  They could use another dynamic scorer besides Jrue Holiday.  That would than move Evan Turner back to his natural position at the Small Forward.  Drafting Mccollum would give Jrue another option, and maybe could help keep Jrue fresh throughout the whole season.

  1. Fantastic! Very well written!! Perhaps a slight bias toward the present, but in some sense today's players are superior in terms of their ability and physical gifts. I think Oscar Robinson might have a grievance, but not I am sure who could be bumped. Maybe make it a Top 11 . . .
